For over 35 years, Albert Wolever has invested his life and ministry in church pastors, lay leaders, and denominational leaders for the purpose of renewing and transforming the local church to effect change in their respective communities. His passion for teaching biblical leadership principles, organizational growth, and personal and corporate stewardship has brought clarity and spiritual insight to the process of Pentecostal church life.
Pastor Al served at the Dexter Lake Church of God in Battlecreek, Michigan as the lead pastor for 20 years. During his tenure the church experienced growth from 32 members to over 1,000 members, acquired 37 acres of land, built a 44,000 square foot sanctuary, 15,000 square foot youth facility, and 3,000 square foot Home and World Missions facility.
Prior to accepting the role as Lead Pastor at Riverhills Church of God, Pastor Wolever worked as a World Missions Field Representative to Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, Southwest Indian Territory, Texas, and the South Central Hispanic Region. He raised funds for missionaries and World Missions projects and assisted churches develop and implement strategic plans for World Missions ministry.
