Ward Beecher... “The heart gives that which neither silver nor gold can buy.

One can accumulate riches, possessions and titles, but one cannot own love. Love posses us: it takes an empty space and forms a receptacle full of smiles, joy, sharing, sacrifice, pain, gain, loss and fullness. One does not really care about what is not born of love. We can like it, appreciate it, and even come to believe we need it, but only love ignites the soul, captures the heart and produces a purified longing.

Mark 12:30 defines the ultimate limit of our love, and the primary goal of life itself...”you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” God’s expression of love is much simpler. He says... “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). We can give Love, but only after receiving: God however, is Love and He sets the heart of man on fire. Let God’s Love outshine silver and gold, and you will be rich beyond your widest dreams.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey!
